This Privacy Policy explains how Sanmao VPN (the 'Service', 'we', or 'us') collects, uses, and protects personal information when providing mobile and desktop applications (the 'App'). The Service is provided as is, and we apply reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect user privacy.

When you download, install, or launch the App, we may collect necessary operational data, including your Internet Protocol (IP) address, device operating system version, in-app paths, connection status, and duration of use. To recommend better routes and improve connection quality, we may process approximate device location. This data is used to: 1. recommend routes based on Sanmao VPN's node distribution; 2. identify regional connection trends through anonymized aggregates; 3. send service notices, security alerts, or account-related messages through your registered email or username.

We only transmit aggregated anonymized data to necessary third-party partners, such as Google Play Services and Firebase, for crash analysis, performance diagnostics, and feature improvements. Except as described here, we do not share personal information with third parties: 1. to comply with legal process or regulatory requirements; 2. when necessary to protect users or others from fraud, abuse, or safety risks; 3. when working with entrusted providers bound by confidentiality duties. If you uninstall the App, it will stop generating new operational data.

User-provided data is retained during the service term and a reasonable grace period afterward. To cancel your account or delete your profile, contact our privacy team at [email protected]. The App is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them; if accidental collection is found, we will delete it as soon as reasonably possible. We use physical, electronic, and access-control measures to protect data confidentiality.
